Scheduling Your Consultation

You have options of meeting with Dr. Alan Durkin in-office at our Vero Beach location or have a one-on-one virtual consultation.

In either case, the doctor will assess your cosmetic needs and tailor a treatment plan to meet your aesthetic goals. Also discussed is maintaining your safety when traveling. For your virtual consultation, we will need to gather the necessary medical information and pictures of your aesthetic concerns for Dr. Durkin before he virtually meets with you. Upon reviewing your information, he will discuss your options and recommendations for your treatment.

Scheduling your Surgery

Our dedicated staff will work closely with you to plan your travels and your procedure. In addition, you will be provided with specific pre-operative instructions that are integral for preparing for your upcoming procedure. All of these details will be discussed during your consultation.

COVID-19 Protocols

If you are traveling internationally or outside of Florida, we will apprise you of any necessary safety measures and precautions needed before your arrival, upon your arrival, and when you depart. Dr. Alan Durkin and our staff are dedicated to safety every step of the way.

Recovery in Vero Beach

Following your surgery, you need to make accommodations to stay between two and five days (depending on your surgical procedure) before flying home. It is recommended you travel with a friend or family member to have assistance during your recovery. However, we can include medical assistance if needed. Dr. Durkin will discuss your specific recovery timeline, but here is what you can expect. Vero Beach is an elegant resort town south of Melbourne and the Sebastian Inlet and north of Ft. Pierce, FL. Our surgery center is the only beachfront surgery center and thus, serves all of the beachside communities. We are located on the first floor of the Oak Point building, conveniently located next to the only CVS pharmacy on the beach. Turnpike South to Yeehaw Junction/Route 60 Exit
Go East on Route 60 into Vero Beach
Travel on Route 60 to Indian River Blvd. Turn left on Indian River Blvd and head north to 3rd traffic light.
Turn right and go over the bridge to 3rd traffic light, which is the A1A intersection.
Turn left on A1A and proceed north.

I95 North to Exit 147(Route 60)
Turn right off Exit 68, onto Route 60, heading east.
Travel on Route 60 TO Indian River Blvd. Turn left on Indian River Blvd and head north to 3rd traffic light.
Turn right and go over bridge to 3rd traffic light, which is the A1A intersection.

I95 South to Fellsmere & Road 512 (Exit 156).
Turn left off exit, heading East.
You will need to turn right, at the sign indicating Road 510 & To HWY US 1.
You will be on 510 for several miles. When you reach the traffic light at the corner of 510 & HWY US 1, go straight through the traffic light, & follow 510 all the way over the Wabasso Causeway (over the river) to Highway A1A.
Turn right on Highway A1A (heading south) towards Vero Beach.
Drive approximately 6 miles, and immediately after the condominium development, Pebble Beach Villas, you will need to slow and enter the left turn lane to enter our parking lot.
Our building (Oak Point Building) is the two story yellow and white building immediately before CVS on the left side of the road.
