What are Dermal Fillers?
Turn back time with minimally invasive and highly effective dermal fillers.
Our dermal fillers use injectable gels that mimic your natural collagen and hyaluronic acid to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, provide structural support and restore volume and contour. Enjoy a fuller, more youthful appearance with your choice of dermal fillers. Your aesthetic expert will assess your skin concerns and determine a proper course of treatment that delivers you optimal results. Dermal Fillers offer different solutions depending on the substance or ingredients they contain:
Poly-L-Lactic Acid
Products includes: Sculptra
Sculptra is a bioinduction agent that we do not avidly use in the face, but we do use for body contouring. It is an effective volumizer that can be used to maximize gluteal/buttock, thigh, and arm contours.
Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)
Product includes: Bellafill
Bellafill is the only dermal filler we do not provide. We find it to be unsafe and unpredictable. We do offer Bellafill removal services, however.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
Product includes: RHA Collection, Juvéderm (Juvéderm XC, VOLUMA, VOLBELLA, VOLLURE), Restylane (Restylane-L, Restylane Kysse, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, and Restylane Defyne), Revanesse Versa
Hyaluronic acid fillers are the most common form of dermal filler therapy. At Ocean Drive Med Spa, we offer the entire spectrum of products from the Juvederm, Restylane, and Revanesse portfolios. Because of this, we can tailor your result to the best product available.
Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA)
Product includes: Radiesse
This is our workhorse dermal filler. For patients looking for the best in nonsurgical facial lifting and filling, as well as improved skin, look no further than Radiesse. This product is the only dermal filler on the market that actively produces youthful Type I collagen as its mechanism of action. Not only is it a filler, it improves your skin at the same time! Our Medical Director, Dr. Alan Durkin has published internationally on the effects of calcium hydroxyapatite therapy.
