Your Renuva treatment depends on the area or areas being injected and your overall aesthetic goal. Dr. Durkin prefers for patients to start gradually for optimal results. Typically, most patients need at least two treatments.

Renuva is made up of purified donated fat tissue. The growth factors, collagen, and proteins within the donated tissue are the same substances found in your body, which means your body won’t reject it. As a result, any possibility of an allergic reaction is reduced.

Renuva is not a dermal filler. When a dermal filler is injected and hits a blood vessel, bruising becomes apparent. With Renuva, the solution is injected deep into the subcutaneous and deep layers of fat and does not come close to blood vessels. Some side effects include redness, minor swelling, firmness, and tenderness at the injection site.

During your consultation, Dr. Durkin will assess your skin concerns, discuss your options and create a treatment plan that is specific to your needs. At this time, the cost of your treatment is discussed. Each patient has a personalized treatment plan to meet their aesthetic needs.
